Festival Fever: Do's and Don'ts

The time has finally come...festival session is finally here! It is the time we all have been waiting for...well at least for me it is. I love going to festivals because the atmosphere is filled with joy and positivity and of course great fashion. Coachella '14 is going to kickoff this weekend in California. And for those who can't make it, you can watch the lifestream on Youtube which can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/user/coachella . However if you are attending a major festival like; Coachella, Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza, here are some do's and don'ts that will make your experience a lot better.

Clothing DO's:
When going to any festival, we all know it's hot throughout the whole day. So a major thing to wear at a festival is loose and that will keep you cool through out the daytime. High waisted shorts, maxi skirts, loose pants, crop tops, hats are all examples of things that will keep you cool.
Clothing DONT's:
You want to stay away from anything that is tight or that will make you hot. So wearing jeans or a tight long sleeve shirt is a no go.

Shoes DO's:
Being comfortable is key to festival because of the amount of walking you'll be doing. So you want to wear shoes that won't make your feet hurt. Some good shoes to wear are sneakers or booties.
Shoes DONT's:
Wearing sandals is a no go. Why? Because there is mud all over the place. But if you're one of those people that don't care getting their feet dirty then power to you. I'm the kind of person that hates getting their feet dirty. Another don't is no heels! I see a lot of girls wear booties with a big heel at festivals. And by the first couple of hours they're already complaining. So if you do plan on wearing booties, make sure the heel isn't too big.

And of course make sure to drink lots of water and most importantly have fun! This is the time to let loose and enjoy the people and music. What festivals are you excited to attend this year?
